Beth and Avery’s first date was July 9th 2022. They went to the thrift store, had a picnic at Queen Elizabeth park (where he would later propose) and then, after exploring the city for a while, went to a live music venue called the Aviary where they enjoyed some local bands. Afterwards, Beth took Avery to the Muttart conservatory to see the beautiful sunset over the Edmonton city skyline where they had their first kiss. On the first date!

Though they didn’t say it at the time, they were both in love after just one day together.

Since then they’ve fallen even more in love. Avery moved to Edmonton to be closer to Beth. They love trying new restaurants, collecting vinyl records, dancing in the kitchen while making dinner and singing in the car. They love traveling and have been all over Alberta visiting family and friends. They even took a road trip down to Arizona, stopping in Provo, Las Vegas, The Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Park, all in Beth’s little Honda Civic.
